Website Design

Is the world of website design new territory for you?

As a small business owner you wear many hats, so you can’t be expected to be an expert at everything.

When choosing a website design company a lack of knowledge can make it easy to get caught out with hidden addition costs, poor quality or expensive packages, exactly what a small business could do without.

Due to this, I have run in the complete opposite direction.

I have moulded Taliho Creative to be transparent, upfront and honest.

I seeked Ali’s help for my website and video course mid 2018 and I can’t stress enough, how much she has helped us. She has taken my website from zero to hero within a matter of months and her honesty is refreshing. A trustworthy, talented lady. Thanks Ali!

The Reality of Website Design

To have a professional website is key to growing your business.

You will want to make sure your branding, design and content is nailed down so it reflects the professional business that you are.

You can link to your website from your social profiles, place it on your business cards, email signature and other key areas when it can serve your business growth and do you proud.

Having a professional website is a key first step, but the reality is, your website requires on-going love, nurturing and input from you.

Simply having a website will not alone drive the clients through your door, or bring in purchase for your online services.

A website is best understood when you view it as a living being.

Without the key attention your chances of being found organically on the first page of google are slim. As the joke goes…

“Where is the best place to hide a body?

On the second page of google.”

Let’s Dive into this a Little Further

What do we mean by on going love and nurturing?

Click to explore below.

A) General Maintenance

In order to ensure your website remains happy and healthy you will need to perform regular “updates” and in addition “back ups” of your website.

We can provide support on an on-going basis for the clients that would rather put their energy into more important tasks or we can train you to take the reins.

It comes down to the individual client preference.

B) Delivering Fresh Content

Google loves fresh and engaging content. This means google will visit your website and recognise that you are serving your audience with unique and engaging. How will they know? One key indicator is that they are spending their time consuming your content. If actioned correctly, this will result in a big high five from google and you being to climb the google ranks.

Note: How quickly this happens depends on a number of factors, for example:

  • The consistancy and frequencing with which you are posting.
  • The consistancy and frequencing with which your competition are posting.
  • The quality of your content
  • How well your content is resonating with your audience
  • And the list goes on.

A great way to do this is through having a blog, where you can express yourself, talk about topics of interest and give your audience the opportunity to know, like and trust you.

If you feel you may need support with this we offer accountability packages to guide you.

C) Keeping Your Website Relevant

Say your pricing changes, your premises, employees leave or arrive or your contact information changes.

OR, perhaps you tweaked something and one of your links stopped working.

You will need to be vigilant and ensure the information and links on your website remain accurate and functioning.

Why so important?

Firstly because this will give the right impression of your business to your audience, and in addition help those website visitors navigate your website and avoid becomming frustrated.

Secondly, if your website is falling out of date it is likely you are not putting the energy into it that you need to and therefore are not doing it justice (or for that matter making google happy…)
